The core members of Skupnost Barka (L’Arche International- Slovenia) and I painted (with the help of lots of tape and newspaper!) this mural in the community’s new shed to inspire each workday. The scene depicts the gorgeous Slovenian landscape, and the verse, Psalm 33:5: “The earth is full of God’s unfailing love.”

I recently had the surreal opportunity to design the wedding invitations of my dear friend Anna. These were done in acrylic and watercolor, then photographed and uploaded onto Vistaprint.

In Progress! Chest of drawers designed/constructed by my friends Allison and Shane. On the left is my original sketch of the design I sketched onto the piece that Allison ultimately wood-burned!

In Summer 2016, I was an intern at the St. Louis Center in Chelsea, Michigan, a residential home for children and adults with intellectual disability. I was so struck by the free, gorgeous creativity of each resident and staff member after he or she received his or her own canvas and the instructions, “No rules!!” The resulting mosaic is now a permanent fixture in the campus’ administrative building.
