Description
This is based on a photo Tanmay took of the Milford Sound in New Zealand last year! I painted a few months ago as an anniversary gift, and arrived at the natural conclusion that he and his saxophone needed to be a part of the scene too 🙂
It’s called “Tanmay” for obvious reasons but also because in Hindi Tanmay [ Th uh n – m ai ] means “engrossed, absorbed, concentrated, and calm” which feels like the perfect description of a man playing a saxophone over a gorgeous New Zealand landscape ♡
